Blow to the face
If you fell and hit your face, or where hit in the mouth with anything please come in right away.

First we need to evaluate and make sure nothing is broken. Your jaw can fracture from a hard enough hit. Next we will check the teeth for fractures or breaks, bleeding and or swelling as well as evaluate cuts to the lips, tongue, or cheek. Sometimes the teeth can be displaced meaning moved out of their normal position or even come out entirely. Please bring in the pieces or whole tooth if this happens.

Broken bones require a surgeon but any chips or breaks of the teeth or cuts to the lips/ tongue can be fixed. Sometimes all we need to do is keep an eye on it and make sure it doesn't act up but best to be checked out!
