Dr. Larkin was born in Annapolis, Maryland and raised in nearby Mayo, where she spent much of her time boating and playing sports. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from St. Mary’s College of Maryland in 2006. While working as an orthodontic assistant in Annapolis, she discovered her passion for dentistry and knew it was the right path for her.

Dr. Larkin received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry in 2011, where she was honored as a member of the Gamma Pi Delta Prosthodontic Honor Society. She then completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine, further strengthening her commitment to comprehensive, high-quality care.

Outside of the office, Dr. Larkin enjoys spending time outdoors—both on land and on the water—with her husband and their two rescue German Shepherds. She is deeply passionate about animal welfare and volunteers with the MidAtlantic German Shepherd Rescue, where she adopted her dogs. In her free time, she also enjoys knitting, cooking, baking, and spending time with family.

Dr. Larkin believes that working closely with patients is the most rewarding part of dentistry. Her goal is to provide excellent, comprehensive care while ensuring every patient feels comfortable, informed, and confident in their treatment options.

Harry S. Gildenhorn, D.D.S., P.A. is a native Washingtonian. He attended George Washington University as a pre-med student and continued his education, graduating from the University of Maryland Dental School. Dr. Gildenhorn has been located in the Rockville area since 1971.

Dr. Swati Pandey was born and brought up in a small valley town at the foothills of the Himalayas in Northern India. She graduated from dental school in India in 2008 and
worked in a private practice for 4 years before moving to the US.
In early 2019, Dr. Pandey graduated from VCU’s School of Dentistry in Richmond with
the top rank in the International Dentist Program. She was also
inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon (OKU) dental honor society which is an honor
bestowed exclusively to the students across the US who demonstrate the most
exceptional scholarship and character.
Dr. Pandey is extremely passionate about preventative dentistry and follows the mantra
of “prevention is better than cure”. She believes that dentistry is her calling and thinks it
is an amazing profession where she gets to mix intricate handwork (which she prides
herself in) with community service. She moved to Maryland in June 2022 with her husband and twin daughters, who are at the center of their universe. She has worked previously in offices in
Charlottesville, VA and in Maryland before joining our team.
In her free time, Dr. Pandey loves cooking, sewing, working on crafts and DIY projects, and hiking/ taking her daughters out on a stroll. Her hobbies include spending time with
her family and sewing and  embroidering outfits for her daughters. She finds herself
extremely fortunate to have the opportunity to serve the patients in Montgomery County
and the surrounding area. She looks forward to meeting you on your next visit and helping
take care of your dental needs.
